SYNOPSIS

In the middle of the Cold War, the University of Chicago awarded a group of Chilean students to study economics under the teachings of Milton Friedman. Twenty years later, in the midst of the dictatorship, they changed the destiny of Chile and turned it into the bastion of neoliberalism in the world. This is the story of the Chicago Boys, told by themselves: What were they willing to do to achieve their goals? How was the model that today is in check born? How do you explain the results in the long term?
